Several Fourth of July fireworks displays across the region have been disrupted after multiple communities say they hired the same Springfield-based vendor that later went bankrupt.
Mexico, Missouri’s Noon Lions Club Firework show has been Canceled and also been added to the growing list of communities experiencing issues tied to the same vendor.
Osage Beach had already postponed its Heart of the Lake FreedomFest fireworks show to July 11,
while a Camdenton golf club canceled its display entirely.
Officials in Mountain Home, Arkansas also reported changes to their plans.
