A man from California state was seriously injured in a crash on interstate 70 in Callaway County Saturday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2025 Volvo Semitruck traveling westbound near U.S. 54 left the roadway, struck a median barrier, and overturned around 11:55 am.
the 51-year-old man was taken to a hospital by ambulance. the trucks 54-year-old driver was not reported injured and was wearing a seatbelt. the injured passenger was not wearing one at the time of the crash.
