A crash on Southbound Highway 63 led to a lane closure Thursday.
Boone County Joint Communications announced that the driving lane was closed at 2:44 p.m.
The Columbia Fire Department posted an image on social media soon after showing a vehicle crashed into a cement truck.
Local news reporting says that as many as nine emergency vehicles were on the scene.
They asked residents to avoid the area if possible while authorities worked.
