Twelve people were rescued by fire crews from a sinking boat in Randolph County on Saturday.
The Westran Fire Protection District said in a press release that crews responded to Thomas Hill Reservoir to find a boat partially sunken on arrival.
The crews began rescuing people and transporting them to shore for medical evaluations. According to the release, all people involved were accounted for and none were injured.
