19-Year-Old Left With Serious Injuries After Cooper County Hydroplane Crash

A 19-year-old woman from Pilot Grove was left with serious injuries after hydroplaning in her vehicle on Thursday in Cooper County.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says that she attempted to drive her 2011 Toyota Camry through standing water on Route JJ around 11:50 a.m. yesterday, when she drove off the road and overturned.

The report says that the woman was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with serious injuries.
