Mid-Missouri Roadwork Underway

A new round of roadwork is getting underway across Boone County and mid-Missouri this week.

MoDOT says drivers should watch for slow-moving equipment, lane closures and reduced speeds.

In Boone County, preventative maintenance is planned on Routes J, O and UU, with flaggers directing traffic.

Work also continues on Route 124, Route AC and several bridge and interchange projects.

In Callaway County, Route F will close Thursday for a culvert replacement, while Route H remains closed for bridge work.

Other projects include pavement repairs and resurfacing in Howard, Cooper, Miller and Maries counties, along with pedestrian improvements in Osage County.

Drivers can check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for the latest road conditions and closures.
