Streets Back Open After Threat at Frederick Douglass High School

About an hour after their initial announcement, the Columbia Police Department announced that there was no threat found near Frederick Douglass High School.

They reportedly initially closed off the streets and evacuated the staff from the building due to reports of a bomb and shooting threat, although the officers and K9 units found no danger. There were no students at the building.

The streets are back open as the investigation continues.
