Vandiver Drive Arson Arrest

A Columbia man is facing arson charges after a trailer home caught fire Sunday night.

Police and firefighters responded to the 15-hundred block of Vandiver Drive on October fourth, finding the home engulfed in smoke and flames.

According to court documents, surveillance footage showed 39-year-old Stephen Tune allegedly starting the fire.

Investigators used license plate camera technology to locate and arrest Tune Thursday.

Authorities say Tune had moved out of the trailer about two weeks before the fire.

He is charged with second-degree arson and is being held in the Boone County Jail on a 50-thousand-dollar bond.
