Kansas City Man Charged in Boone County Stabbing
A 32-year-old Kansas City man is facing several felony charges after authorities say he stabbed a man in the Prathersville area of Boone County Wednesday night.
Cody Bass is charged with second-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Court documents say Bass allegedly threatened to kill a man and two other people before stabbing the man during an attempted hug.
Police reported cuts on the victim’s hand and arm.
Bass is being held at the Boone County Jail without bond. A court date has not been set.
