The Missouri Public Service Commission approved an agreement for Ameren Missouri to increase their operating revenues by nearly 92 million dollars.
In a release yesterday, the agreement will go into effect on April 1. The estimated cost to customers will be around $3.70 per month.
Ameren had filed a rate request in July of last year, looking for an increase of over 206 million dollars.
The utility company cites capital investments transmission and distribution projects and higher operator charges as the reasons for the increase.
