A Columbia man is in the Boone County Jail after an arrest in connection with a kidnapping that led to a fatal car crash.
According to the Columbia Police Department 31 year old Demetres D. Washington from Kansas City was arrested this (Friday) morning just after 10 in connection for 2nd degree murder and kidnapping.
This stems from her involvement in the child abduction and vehicle crash on I-70 on March 7th.
A 1 million dollar bond has been set.
