A student at the Battle High School is facing consequences after administrators report finding a gun and marijuana in a backpack.
According to a letter sent out by Battle High School Principal Kim Presko the gun was found yesterday (Monday) with no ammunition and the school administration says they are unaware of the student making any threats.
The school and law enforcement are working together to find an appropriate punishment for the student and ensure the safety of the school environment.
