A shots fired call in the 2300 block of Carpenter Drive leads to a summons being issued by police. According to Columbia Police they went to the area just before ten last (Wednesday) night and while they where there more gun shots were heard.
It was determined the gunfire was coming from home in the area, and officers found a shotgun near the backdoor of the home and spent shell casings in the backyard.
No injuries or property damage is being reported.
One person was issued a Municipal Summons as a result of the incident.
