A Vandalia man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 70 in Montgomery County over the weekend.
The Highway patrol reports 48 year old Carl Heaston slowed down in the westbound lane at the 183.6 mile marker when he traveled off the road and was ejected from the Harley.
He was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
