The Boone County Sheriff’s Office along with several other agencies will be conducting a drug take back event on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, there will be 2 collection sites open. They are at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital from 10AM to 2 PM, and the University of Missouri Student Center from 10 until 2.
On Saturday there will be 5 sites open from 10AM until 1PM.
They include the Ashland Police Department, Centralia Police Department, Hallsville Police Department, Hickman High School and Rock Bridge High School.
Citizens may go to any of these locations during the listed times to drop off unwanted medications. No needles will be accepted.
