City Counil Approves Budget
The Mexico City Council held a public hearing to approve the 2018-2019 fiscal year budget.
The newly approved balanced budget will run from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019.
The total budgeted revenues total $14,046,430, with expenditures estimated at $15,416,767. The $1.3 million dollar deficit will be fulfilled by project reserves and unreserved fund balances.
The council also approved some changes for Teal Lake Village that is nearing completion. Crews encountered some soft soil and asked for the council to approve the planned playground to be placed in a location in the southwest corner instead of a residence.
