JCPD Asks Volunteers To Call Department

The Jefferson City Police Department held a press conference this morning [Friday] in regards to 4 year old Darnell Gray, who was reported missing around 7:00 yesterday [Thursday] morning.

According to Lt. David Williams, 35 law enforcement agencies including the FBI are actively involved in the search that continued throughout the night.

Williams says there have been numerous volunteers in the area, and ask that anyone wanting to help search to call the Jefferson City Police Department and as for Sgt. Lethern to be added to a list.

Police are still considering this a missing person case, and investigators will continue to search in the area of the residence on Buena Vista.

A $500 CrimeStopper reward is being offered for information leading to Gray’s whereabouts.
