Energy Transfer announced Sunday their intention to re-test 15 miles of the Panhandle Eastern Pipeline between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday.
The hydro-testing will take place along the pipe section that runs west to east starting at Panhandle’s Centralia Compressor Station near Highway Z and ending near Highway J.
During the testing period, Arthur Hills Golf Course will be closed.
If integrity issues are found during the re-test they will be corrected and additional testing completed if necessary.
During the test, major road crossings are monitored and the company aerial pilot flies the line to monitor the right of way.
Representatives from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration will be onsite during the testing and will observe any required repairs of the pipeline.
