A man accused of killing 5 people in Kansas and Missouri reportedly hanged himself in his cell early this morning. [Tuesday]
According to a press release, Pablo Serrano-Vitorino was found alone in his cell early this morning, and transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:06 a.m.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports Serrano-Vitorino hanged himself and left a note written in Spanish.
Serrano-Vitorino was facing the death penalty in Missouri for the shooting death of Randy Nordman of New Florence on March 8, 2016 at his home. The night before, he is believed to have shot and killed 4 men in Kansas City, Kansas.
He was captured after a nearly 18 hour manhunt in Montgomery County.
