Mexico Student Earns Scholarship For Engineering Project

A Mexico High School student has been awarded a scholarship from Harbor Freight Tools after a stellar performance in the SkillsUSA Principles of Engineering Contest held in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ryan Pemberton is one of 38 students from across the country to receive the $1400 scholarship.

Pemberton was selected after a competitive written application process that included answering questions about how they embody the SkillsUSA Creed, and how they use their skills to support their community.
