Another Friday Night Lights is in the books as area high school football teams battled in week 4 of the season.

The Mexico Bulldogs came from behind to defeat the Marshall Owls 28-20.
Hannibal big over Fulton 56-19.
Moberly shut out Kirksville 27-0.

The Centralia Panthers remain undefeated taking out Monroe City 18-0.
Rock Bridge defeating Capital City 76-49.

North Callaway blanked Van-Far 45-0.
Southern Boone 38 Richmond 24.

Montgomery County bested South Callaway 41-20.
Knox County took out Paris 26-18.
And it was Blair Oaks victorious over Boonville 51-7.

The Mexico girls softball team went 1-1 in the first day of the Capital City Classic.
Game 1 the Lady Dogs lost 6-1 to Howell Central.
The Mexico girls would bounce back in game 2 in a come from behind 5-4 against Farmington.
Mexico is 8-4 and will play again this (Saturday) morning.

The St. Louis Cardinals with a doubleheader sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road yesterday (Friday).
Game 1 saw the Redbirds edge the Buckos 6-5.
In game 2 Dylan Carlson returned to the active roster with bang hitting a 3 run home run to lead the Cardinals to a 7-2 victory.

The Kansas City Royals lost to the Milwaukee Brewers 9-5.
