The Mexico Lady Bulldogs lost 63-40 to the Macon Lady Tigerettes in the championship game of the Macon Tournament tonight (Saturday).
The Mexico Girls got down early trailing 21 to 9 after the first quarter.
Mexico would close the deficit to just 6 points at halftime.
Macon poured it on in the second half holding Mexico to 13 total points.
Freshman Riley Blevins led Mexico in scoring with 11 points.
Mya Miller was in double digits with 10.
And freshman Jordyn Thurman had a solid performance finishing the game with 8 points.
Mya Miller, Riley Thurman and Riley Blevins were named to the All Tournament Team.
Mexico is now 10-3 on the season and will play the Moberly Spartans on Tuesday at home.
