Mexico Bulldogs Boys And Girls Basketball Teams Defeats Moberly On The Road In Conference Battles

The Mexico Bulldogs Girls and Boys Basketball Teams each picked up conference road wins against the Moberly Spartans tonight (Friday).

The Mexico Girls defeated Moberly 66 to 60 in an overtime thriller.

It was huge night for Riley Thurman who put up a season high 24 points.

Mya Miller finished the game with 15 points.

And it was freshman Riley Blevins in double digits with 11.

With the win the Lady Bulldogs improved to 15-3 on the season and remained unbeaten in the North Central Missouri Conference at 7-0.

The Mexico Bulldogs Boys defeated the Moberly Spartans 73-56.

The Bulldogs trailed by 3 at halftime.

Then Mexico’s defense took over the game and held the Spartans to just 20 total points in the second half.

The Bulldogs got three big performances from starters Daeye Miller who put up 22 points, Isaiah Reams with 20 and the man who patrols the middle-Drew Blevins put up 18 points.

With the win Mexico is now 17-3 on the season and 6-1 in the NCMC.
