Mexico Public Safety is reporting a busy weekend after storms went through the area.
On Saturday, around 7:30pm heavy wind followed by significant rain moved through the Mexico area.
Mexico Public Safety responded to power lines and tree limbs down in the 500 block of South Jefferson, the 700 block of South Jefferson, 800 block of South Western, and the 400 block of Whitley.
The City of Mexico Street Department and Ameren helped clear the roadways and make the situations safe.
Then last (Sunday) night around 8:30, a line of thunderstorms moved through Missouri bringing more strong winds and heavy rains in the Mexico area.
Mexico Public Safety responded to power lines and tree limbs down in the 100 block of Mary, the 200 block of East Orange and the 700 block of Woodlawn.
Also, a large limb fell on a parked car in the 800 block of East Jackson.
That section of the roadway is still closed.
The wind also blew a metal storage shed into the roadway near Holt Street and Martin Luther King Drive.
Responding officers were able to clear the shed from the roadway.
There were no injuries from the incidents.
