The North Callaway girls softball team are now 2 and 2 in Eastern Missouri Conference play after hosting Elsberry last (Thursday) night.

Elsberry shut out the Lady Thunderbirds 8 to nothing to remain undefeated in conference play and 9 and 1 overall.

North Callaway is 3 and 4 on the season.

Week four of high school football kicks off tonight at 7:00 and Mexico plays host to the Marshall Owls at Hawthorne Heights.

The Reds beat the Cardinals 3-2 last night, breaking their six-game losing streak with the help of two solo runs by Nick Senzel and Aristides Aquino.

The Cardinals are now just 7 1/2 games ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Central.

The Twins took the Royals 3-2 in a three-game sweep in Minnesota.

Tonight the Cincinnati Reds are in St. Louis at 7:15 – Undecided vs Jack Flaherty.

Kansas City is in Boston facing the Red Sox at 6:10 – Jonathan Heasley vs Michael Wacha.
