The Mexico Bulldogs were back on the road yesterday (Monday) with a stop at the Harrisburg Shootout.
The varsity guys played three games and went 2-1 with wins over Cairo and Harrisburg.
The only loss came to Van-Far by four points.
Mexico head coach Darren Pappas says “We did a good job of jumping out to early leads, but definitely were not consistent and allowed teams to climb back into it. Thought we did a good job moving the basketball and pushing the ball in transition. We got sparks in 2nd and 3rd games from Kaden Benne, Kinser Groves, Aidan Knipfel, Sam Ryan, and Holden Aulbur. Still a young team with guys stepping into bigger varsity roles but we are headed in the right direction.”
