The Audrain County United Way announces the appointment of Samantha Wilson as its incoming Executive Director.
Wilson is a Mexico resident since 1998.
She is a mother to three sons, Brenan, Landen, and Aiden and shares her life with her significant other, Tiger.
In addition to her appointment at Audrain County United Way, Samantha serves at the Mexico Area Family YMCA, where she directs childcare programs, manages bookkeeping, and instructs group fitness classes.
Expressing her immediate goals for the United Way program, Samantha states, “I am eager to hit the ground running and am determined to increase fundraising efforts to reclaim the pre-COVID success of the organization. I believe that by highlighting these contributions, we can further engage the community
and foster even greater support.”
Leadership from the Mexico YMCA and Audrain County United Way entered into an agreement in February of 2023 to pilot a partnership program.
