Arraignment Set for Richard Renno

An arraignment has been set for former Benton County Treasurer Richard Renno, who was arrested earlier this year on allegations of trying to entice a minor.
Court records show Renno’s arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. on December 3 at the Benton County Courthouse.
Investigators say Renno used the dating app Grindr to contact a 14-year-old and allegedly sent nude photos.
According to court documents, Renno admitted to messaging minors “two or three times.”
Renno has since resigned from his position as treasurer following child sex crime allegations and a lawsuit seeking his removal filed by the Missouri attorney general.
