Mexico Public Safety Department Report 10/3/2024
Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, October 2, 2024:
- Property damage on Michigan.
- Suspicious vehicle at Paris Road/south of city limits.
- Unwanted subject on West Boulevard.
- Suspicious person at the South Trails Shopping Center and on Marine Drive.
- Vehicle break-in at South Clark.
- Stealing or theft on North Western and at Terrace Circle.
- Domestic verbal incident on South Coal.
- Careless and imprudent driver at Monroe/Kentucky.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a two-car accident at 1200 West Boulevard in Mexico on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Juliette Wilburn of Mexico was stopped at the intersection of Morris at Boulevard and did not see a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Cheyenne York of Benton City approaching.
Wilburn proceeded to pullout onto Boulevard and collided with York’s vehicle.
