Tennessee Man Charged in Boone County Assault
A Tennessee man is facing serious charges in Boone County after police say he assaulted a woman early Monday.
28-year-old Lucas Watson of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, is charged with first-degree sodomy, attempted rape, and third-degree domestic assault.
Officers were called to a Columbia home around 1 a.m. after a woman reported Watson refused to leave.
According to court documents, Watson later admitted to hitting the victim “out of frustration.” The victim told police she was sexually assaulted after repeatedly saying no.
Watson is being held at the Boone County Jail without bond, and no court date has been set.
