Jefferson City Man Charged in Child Sexual Assault Case
A 44-year-old Jefferson City man was arrested Friday after allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile.
Greggery T. Marshall was charged with First-Degree Statutory Rape or Attempted Statutory Rape of Person Less than 14 Years Old and Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy Deviate Sexual Intercourse of Person Less than 14 Years Old.
The probable cause statement says that on February 19, a Boone County Department of Family Services investigator contacted the Jefferson City Police Department about a sexual offense involving the man and a juvenile victim.
According to court documents, the victim disclosed that Marshall had raped and sodomized them while living in Jefferson City, and that they were 14-years-old at the time.
The victimadded that these encounters happened several times for a three-to-four year period.
Marshall was booked into Cole County Jail and is being held without bond.
