Two people are dead after a crash in Hermann Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 52-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were killed when their vehicle went off an embankment on private property east of East Sixth Street and into Frene Creek.
Investigators say the SUV struck several trees, overturned multiple times, and landed in the water.
Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt. The crash happened around noon.
Troop F is continuing to investigate at the request of Hermann Police.
