The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded the City of Auxvasse a $50,000 grant to evaluate its wastewater system.
The funding comes through the state’s Clean Water Engineering Report Grant program, which helps small communities assess infrastructure needs and reduce stormwater entering sewer systems.
State officials say the study will help Auxvasse identify current wastewater needs and plan for future growth.
The city expects to complete its facility plan by February 2028.
The City of Greentop also received a matching $50,000 grant for the same purpose
