Columbia Man Charged with DWI after Crash Injures Three People
A Columbia man has been charged after police say that he drove drunk and caused a crash that injured three people.
The crash reportedly happened near Broadway and Eighth streets, in which 25-year-old Aaron Monroe Jr. reportedly rear-ended another vehicle, and the driver and two passengers reported neck, back, and head pain.
One of them was taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Monroe reportedly had bloodshot eyes and his blood alcohol level was measured at .157%.
He was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident Causing Injury and DWI Causing Injury.
He is being held on a $20,000 bond.
