Boone County Firefighters extinguished a trailer fire Wednesday afternoon that damaged at least two homes.
The trailer reportedly caught fire near two homes in the 7400 block of Suncrest Court.
Fire crews say no one was injured.
Chuck Doss, assistant chief with the Boone County Fire Protection District, said that while the cause remains under investigation, firefighters believe the fire likely as a result of lithium-ion batteries and other materials stored inside the trailer reacting to extreme heat.
