Odessa Woman Charged in Columbia Vehicular Assault
A 21-year-old Odessa woman is facing multiple charges after police say she hit two people with a car during a fight in downtown Columbia.
Court documents say the incident happened early Sunday morning on South Seventh Street. Police say video showed a Mercedes-Benz accelerate toward a group of people, striking two of them before leaving the scene.
One person was taken to the hospital, while the other declined treatment.
Police later found the Mercedes with windshield damage and arrested Eitaly Cheyenne Hinton.
She is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, leaving the scene of an accident involving physical injury, and driving while revoked. Hinton was being held without bond.
