Fiber Work to Cause Jefferson City Lane Closures
Drivers in Jefferson City should expect intermittent lane closures this week as crews install fiber optic lines.
The work begins Monday near the intersection of Stadium Boulevard and Monroe Street and will continue toward downtown through Friday, weather permitting.
Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with reduced hours in school zones from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
City officials are asking drivers to use alternate routes when possible and allow extra time for travel in the area.
