Diaper Need Awareness Week Events

First Chance for Children is helping Columbia families during Diaper Need Awareness Week with several events focused on providing essential childcare supplies.

The organization’s events run Today through Friday and include a diaper drive-thru, a diaper wrapping marathon, and a birthday celebration and diaper donation drive.

The week follows Governor Mike Kehoe’s proclamation recognizing September 14 through September 20 as Diaper Need Awareness Week.

Events will be held at locations on Fay Street in Columbia, with the goal of helping families access clean diapers and other childcare resources.
