Mokane Woman Seriously Injured
A 65-year-old Mokane woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Monday night in Callaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 33-year-old Mokane woman was driving a Ford Flex northbound on Route C, just south of County Road 400, when the vehicle hit the pedestrian standing in the roadway.
The 65-year-old woman was taken to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
The driver was not injured, and the crash remains under investigation.
