Detectives with the Columbia Police Department have made an arrest in an attempted abduction that took place on Greenwood Avenue on January 25.
Investigation led to the arrest of 47 year old Anthony Todd Rowell of Holts Summit.
According to Police, Rowell was positively identified by the victim as the man who grabbed her hair and attempted to pull her into a gold or tan Honda Odyssey.
Police confirmed Rowell owns a vehicle matching that description.
He is being held on suspicion of felonious restraint, second degree kidnapping and misdemeanor assault. Bonds on these charges have not yet been set.
