A man identified as a suspect in a home invasion burglary and assault last week is now in police custody.
According to Fulton Police they arrested Franklin Richmond III just before 5 last (Thursday) night at the C and R Market.
Richmond is accused of breaking into a home on Vine Street and assaulting the homeowner with a baseball bat on January 24th, police had been searching for him since the incident.
Also arrested, 47 year old Candace R. Witt for hindering prosecution.
She was taken in to custody at home on 805 State Street where she and Richmond had been staying.
