The University of Missouri released their most recent Title IX report today [Wednesday] indicating reports of discrimination are up from 2016 and 2017.
According to the report, 750 reports were received in the department in the 2017-2018 school year, up from 693.
Of those reports, 59.3 percent were related to sex or gender discrimination, up from 52.9 percent in the previous report.
Title IX noted a dorp in the number of reports made regarding race discrimination. In 2017 and 2018, 15.7 percent of the reports alleged racial discrimination, and in the newest report that number has decreased to 13.2 percent.
