St. Louis Cardinals slugger Paul DeJong with a home run that did an extra bit of damage last (Monday) night at Busch Stadium.
It was in the sixth inning when DeJong hit a blast that blew out the “M” in the lit up “Big Mac” sign that hangs from the facade of the left field second deck at Busch Stadium.
The ball came to rest inside the foot of the letter.
The homer left DeJong’s bat with an exit velocity of 104.6 miles per hour and was his third homer in his last six games and 22nd this season.

The St. Louis Cardinals pitching combined with a 1 hit shutout of the Milwaukee Brewers in a 3-0 win at Busch Stadium last (Monday) night.

They were led by starter Dakota Hudson who silenced the Brew-crew over the first 6 and 2/3 innings and picked up his team leading 12th win.
The Redbirds remain undefeated against the Brewers at home this season improving to 4-0.

The Kansas City Royals edged out the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 on the road.
Royals closer Ian Kennedy earned his 22nd save, and the Royals handed the Orioles their 8th straight loss.

The San Francisco 49ers with a 24-15 win over the Denver Broncos in the NFL preseason last (Monday) night.
Former Mizzou quarterback Drew Lock led the Bronco’s offense to a 13 play, 57 yard drive that ended in a field goal.
Lock went 4 for 5 for 24 yards on the drive.
