MU Athletics Growing Number Of Annual Donors Through 1892 Campaign

1892 is the year the University of Missouri was founded and is the name of a new campaign by the athletics department that started this year.

MU Athletics Director Jim Sterk says they are looking to increase the number of annual donors to the scholarship fund.

Sterk says they saw room for improvement when they compared themselves to other schools in the SEC.

The 1892 campaign started in January and Sterk says they currently have 13,000 donors.

Mr. Sterk was the featured speaker at the Mexico Rotary Club meeting last week at the Oaks in Mexico.
