Mexico Softball Wins Non-Conference Game Vs. Centralia Panthers

The Mexico Bulldogs softball girls put another W in the win column defeating the Centralia Panthers 5-4 tonight (Tuesday).

It was a hot night at Gallop Field and the lady Bulldogs bats were on fire with the Bash Sisters Hayley Mills and Logan Blevins each hitting 2 run bombs.

Head Coach Keith Louder says they made some nice plays defensively.

Taylor Sherrow with a single and a stolen base.

Abby Oetting with a stand up double.

Kaylee Jones added a single.

Centralia would battle back with a three run 4th inning.

Then Hayley Mills shut them down in the 7th inning for a complete game.

Unofficially Mills recorded 6 strikeouts on the night.

Mexico improved their record to 6-3 overall.

They will face the Boonville Pirates in a conference game tomorrow (Wednesday) night on the road.
