St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Shildt is in the top three in the National League Manager of the Year Award race.
His team was the first in Major League history to go from worst to first in errors from one season to the next.
Shildt is vying to join Whitey Herzog and Tony LaRussa as the only skippers in club history to win the NL Manager of the Year Award, which has been given out annually since 1983.
The winner will be announced November 12th, on the MLB Network.
Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball will open up the regular season tonight (Tuesday) when they host Western Illinois at Mizzou Arena.
The Tigers are coming off a 24 win season last year and made their 4th consecutive NCAA Tournament.
Tip off is slated for 7pm.
NFL Monday Night Football saw the Dallas Cowboys defeat the New York Giants 37-18.
The Cowboys improved to 5-3 on the season, running their winning streak over the Giants to 6 straight games and maintaining their first place lead in the NFC East.
