The Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team will face the Van Horn Falcons on Friday night in the quarterfinals of the Sectional Playoffs at 6pm.

The winner will secure a Final Four appearance in Springfield, MO.

KXEO will be broadcasting the game with a 5:45 pregame and a 6pm tip and it will be streaming on KXEO.com.

Mexico defeated Kearney 55-49 last (Tuesday) in the first round of Sectionals.

KXEO will be rebroadcasting the game tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10am.

History was made yesterday (Tuesday) by Mexico High School wrestler Katie Bowen who took home a bronze medal and a third place finish at the Girls State Wrestling Tournament in Indepence, Mo.

The girls wrestling program just completed their inaugural season.

Bowen was the first girl to reach the State Wrestling Tournament for the Mexico High School.

She took down the second ranked wrestler in the state at the tournament.

A date has been set for the annual Battle Line Rivalry Game in college football between the Missouri Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The game will be played on CBS on Friday, November 26th in Fayetteville, Arkansas with a 2:30 kickoff.

The game had been played on the Friday after Thanksgiving every year from 2014 through 2019 before COVID-19 forced alternations to both teams 2020 All-SEC schedule.

In Spring Training Baseball yesterday (Tuesday) the St. Louis Cardinals lost 5-3 to the New York Mets. Carlos Martinez did have a solid starting pitching outing striking out 3 over 3 scoreless innings.

The Kansas City Royals lost 6-3 to the Seattle Mariners.
