A Fulton man was arrested early Thursday morning just days after being released on parole from prison.
Officers arrested 38-year-old Thomas Seay for stealing a truck at around 1:30 a.m. after a man made a call for an in progress vehicle theft.
The victim reportedly managed to flag down Seay and hold him at gunpoint until the authorities arrived.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office says that Seay was released from prison within the past week.
He was charged with First-Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, First-Degree Trespassing, Stealing a Motor Vehicle and Stealing $750 or More.
He is being jailed without bond.
