Woman Injured in Semi Crash
A 52-year-old California, Missouri, woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Moniteau County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:55 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Route H.
Troopers say a 2026 Peterbilt tractor-trailer was attempting to pass a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser when the PT Cruiser turned left into its path, causing the collision.
The driver of the PT Cruiser was flown by MU Air to University Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 57-year-old Columbia man, was not reported injured.
