The Mexico Audrain County Library District has a new director. Longtime employee Christal Bruner has been selected for the position. Bruner says as director she would like to expand the library’s presence on social media. Bruner will also oversee Martinsburg, Ladonnia, Vandalia, and Farber. She officially stepped into her role last week.

The Van-Far School District will have a parade this (Thursday) afternoon for the Class 2 State Champions Boys Basketball team. Kim Pafford Van-Far High School Principal says the parade will be taking place at 4:30. The team will also be recognized by the school board after the recognition ceremony at the high school.
